I can’t think of another career I would rather have. Orthodontics allows me to help others improve their function, appearance and self-esteem, serving a clientele that is interested in their dental health. It is my privilege to work with a dedicated and caring staff doing what I love to do.
Bio and Education
I was born and raised in Nebraska, growing up in the small town of Osmond where my father “Doc” Boice served the community as a veterinarian.
I attended collage at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, receiving my undergraduate B.S. degree in Home Economics, graduating as a Chancellor’s Scholar and member of Phi U honorary society. I then taught Food and Nutrition to 7th and 8th graders at Millard Public School in Omaha, Nebraska for four years.
I attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center – College of Dentistry where I earned my dental degree (D.D.S.), graduating number one in my class and as a member of OKU Honor Society. My specialty training in orthodontics was also at the University of Nebraska.
I completed the two-year Roth-Williams USA Course of Advanced Education in Orthodontics presented at the University of Detroit/Mercy in 2003 and annually complete continuing education workshops and seminars endorsed by the American Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Boice is a member of American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Northwest Missouri Dental Association and the Roth-Williams Study Club.
Family and Interests
I am richly blessed to have a wonderful husband and two children to share my life with. I enjoy fitness, baking (especially desserts, which interferes with the fitness!), sewing, activities with the family and golf.
