Welcome to our office! We’re glad you and your family have chosen our office for an orthodontic screening. We will give you information about your orthodontic needs, treatment options, costs and financing. We will gladly answer any questions you have and this first visit is complimentary!
You will spend time with Dr. Boice to determine your needs and discuss options. The Doctor will be happy to address any concerns you have at this time. One of our experienced clinical chairside assistants will tell you about our office, explain the various appliances, show you how SureSmile can shorten your time in braces, and tell you about the clear advantage of Invisalign. Our office manager will discuss fees, insurance and financing. Your total appointment will take approximately 30 minutes.
Since this is a screening appointment only, it is designed to introduce you to our office, help you make decisions about your treatment, the timing of your treatment and give you financial information. There is no charge for this screening. We may be unable to give you a specific diagnosis or treatment plan until after impressions, X-rays, photographs and a thorough clinical exam are completed. If you would like to have an in-depth discussion with the Doctor or want a more specific treatment plan, you will want to schedule a longer appointment to have these orthodontic records taken. Ask about the charge for the records appointment.
Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your first visit:
- Any panoramic X-ray taken within the past six months. You can ask your dentist to e-mail this to our office.
- If you have orthodontic insurance, bring your insurance card. By providing this information at the first visit, we will be able to give you an estimate of your costs.
